EVIT: East Valley Institute of Technology
The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) application for the 2023-2024 school year is now open!
We encourage students to apply as soon as possible as some programs do fill up early. Students can visit www.evit.com for more information and to complete the application process. Before you apply online, you will need to contact Mrs. Melissa Levine (mlevine@susd.org) in the Saguaro front office to request the 4 SUSD documents that must be uploaded to the EVIT application before it can be submitted. Ms. Benson will send the four documents to you as an email attachment. These documents are:
- Attendance Record
- Discipline Record
- Current Unofficial Transcript
- Proof of Immunizations
Sophomore students were able to participate in a field trip to EVIT earlier this month. If your student was unable to attend but would like to visit the EVIT campus, you may contact EVIT at 480-461-4108 to schedule an appointment.
Saguaro has a partnership with EVIT: East Valley Institute of Technology designed to support students seeking to explore technical training programs.
Students will generally be able to start the programming in their Junior year - taking 3 classes on the Saguaro campus and then heading off to EVIT to work on their selected program of study.
This information is introduced to students in their Sophomore year.
