Seniors: All academic requirements and financial obligations must be satisfied prior to graduation. Fees, textbooks, library books, uniforms, elevator keys and all school property MUST be returned/reconciled in the bookstore prior to the ceremony to allow participation. Thank you.

Cap and Gown Orders

The final deadline to order a cap and gown online and be able to pick it up at Saguaro with all the other graduates is Friday, April 24th.
Please place your order directly from the Jostens website: www.jostens.com .
If you have any questions, please call Jostens at 1-800-JOSTENS.
Please see the information below on how and when to pick up your cap and gown.
Announcements Delivery Day

If Seniors ordered graduation announcements from Jostens, they will be able to pick them up on March 11th, from 11:47am-12:20pm (during lunch), in the outside quad area at Saguaro.
If they cannot pick up their announcements at that time, please have them see Toni Cummings in the front office the following day.

Cap & Gown Distribution Day
- Seniors will be able to pick up their caps and gowns on April 29th, from 10:45am-12:45pm, in room 209 at Saguaro. If they cannot pick up during this day/time their items will be available in the bookstore the following day.

Graduation Ticket Information
- Each graduating student will receive 4 complimentary graduation tickets when they pick up their cap/gown.
- Additional tickets (no limit) will be available for purchase at $10.00 per ticket (cash/check/card - check made to Saguaro High School), beginning April 30th at 7:45am through May 20th at 11:20am, in the Saguaro Bookstore.
- All attendees over the age of 2 will need to have a ticket to enter the graduation ceremony.
- If the ceremony needs to be moved indoors for any reason, each graduate will receive 2 tickets for entry into the ceremony

Senior Sunset
May 7th, 6:00pm-8:00pm, Saguaro Football Field.
Only Saguaro seniors are permitted to attend this event.
It is a fun way for the Seniors to connect with their 2026 class and reminiscence about their high school experiences.

This is an invite only event. Invites will be sent directly to senior students and parents.

Senior Elementary School Graduation Walk
Date TBD.
Seniors are invited and encouraged to wear their cap and gown and return to their elementary school to walk the halls and be cheered on by their former Alma Mater Staff and current elementary students. This is a fun tradition that our Seniors and their former staff love! The elementary schools participating are Kiva, Navajo and Pueblo.
Parents, please call the Saguaro attendance line and excuse your senior if they choose to participate in this event. 480-484-7299.

- This is an optional event, SUSD is not responsible for students prior to arrival and after departure
Graduation

Graduation Info for Graduates:
- Graduates arrive NO LATER THAN 6:30pm
- Room assignments will be posted on the windows by the front office. Graduates should check for room assignment and immediately report to assigned room.
- Diplomas will be given to each graduate after the ceremony
- Graduates must dress appropriate for the ceremony (for example: dress slacks, collared dress shirt, tie, dress, dress shoes/sandals)
- Any graduates disrupting or distracting the ceremony will be removed
- Graduation caps must remain UNDECORATED
- PLEASE NOTE: HEELS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE FIELD AT ANYTIME, INCLUDING GRADUATES AND GUESTS THAT WANT TO COME ON THE FIELD AFTER THE CEREMONY
Graduation Info for Spectators:
- Gates for spectators will be open at 6:30pm (ceremony starts PROMPTLY at 7:45pm)
- Water will be available for purchase at the ceremony
- No outside food/drink
- Clear bag policy strictly enforced
- Seating for individuals with a disability is available on a first-come first-serve basis (one guest may accompany each individual in the seating area)
- Handicap parking will be available in the lot located at the south end of the stadium until full
- PLEASE NOTE: HEELS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE FIELD AT ANYTIME, INCLUDING GRADUATES AND GUESTS THAT WANT TO COME ON THE FIELD AFTER THE CEREMONY
- If the ceremony needs to be moved indoors for any reason, each graduate will receive 2 tickets for entry into the ceremony
- Professional photographers will be taking individual photos of each graduate as they receive their diploma. Dorian Studios will email each graduate a passcode and link to view/purchase their photos within seven days of the ceremony. PTO Senior Trip 2026
PTO Senior Trip 2026
The senior trip is to Six Flags Magic Mountain in California for the "Senior Grad Night Only Party".
Students will be travelling on a charter bus to Magic Mountain and will enjoy the park with other seniors from across the country. The park is closed to the general public for this event.
Dates:
May 15th, 12:00pm: depart Saguaro headed to Magic Mountain
May 15th -16th, 8:00pm - 3:00am: attend "Senior Grad Night Party" at Magic Mountain
May 16th, 12:00pm: return to Saguaro
$250 per person. Cost of trip includes transportation, admission and dinner/beverages while in the park. Partial & full scholarships available.
